Basketball Recap: Early College International Comes Up Short at Home Against Caledonia-Mumford

Early College International unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 42-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Collin Foote was nothing short of spectacular for Caledonia-Mumford: he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Foote a new career-high in boards. Sean McNear was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Caledonia-Mumford and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Early College International does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will face off against Geneseo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Geneseo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Caledonia-Mumford likes a good challenge.
