Softball Recap: Encinal Takes a Loss

Encinal had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Castro Valley Trojans on Saturday, falling 8-1. The Jets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Encinal saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Tran, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Encinal will be taking part in a tournament against San Ramon Valley at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday. As for Castro Valley, they will take on Dublin in a tournament on Saturday.
