Basketball Recap: Bloomburg Takes a Loss

Bloomburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. 2025 welcomed they with a 58-34 loss courtesy of the Ore City Rebels. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-41 back in December of 2024.

Bloomburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Ore City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomburg will welcome Avinger at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Ore City, they will challenge McLeod at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
