Basketball Recap: Boise City Wins Going Away Against Walsh

Boise City won the last time they faced Walsh and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Boise City Wildcats blew past the Walsh Eagles 58-33.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maribel Carrillo, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards. What's more, Carrillo also posted a 38% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Alley, who posted 12 points.

Boise City's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Walsh, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Boise City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walsh, they will head out on the road to take on Holly at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
