Baseball Preview: Messalonskee Eagles vs. Nokomis Warriors

The Messalonskee Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Nokomis Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Messalonskee is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road dating back to last season.

On Wednesday, Messalonskee narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lewiston 6-5.

Meanwhile, Nokomis never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Erskine Academy.

Owen Menard made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Menard was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
