Southlake Carroll kept a clean sheet against Byron Nelson on Friday. They put the hurt on the Byron Nelson Bobcat with a sharp 3-0 win. Considering the Dragons have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Southlake Carroll, bringing their record for this year to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Byron Nelson, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-5.

Coincidentally, Southlake Carroll and Byron Nelson will both be playing Trinity the next time they take the pitch. Southlake Carroll will head out to face Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Byron Nelson will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on February 21st.
