Baseball Recap: Brawley Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Brawley's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Golden Knights on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brawley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sergio Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Brawley now has a losing record of 10-11. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

Coming up, Brawley will challenge Shadow Hills at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Francis, they will head out on the road to face off against Sierra Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
