Basketball Recap: Frankfort Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Herrin, Frankfort was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Wayne City Indians by a score of 60-52. The victory continues a trend for the Redbirds in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

The win got Frankfort back to even at 1-1. As for Wayne City, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Frankfort and Wayne City will both be playing Edwards County the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Redbirds will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
