Basketball Recap: Armijo Takes a Loss

Armijo lost against Vintage back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Armijo Royals were dealt a 75-39 loss at the hands of the Vintage Crushers. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Armijo's loss came despite strong showings from Willie Nickson and Jamire Singleton. Nickson posted 12 points, while Singleton put up nine points. The dominant performance gave Nickson a new career-high in points.

Armijo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Vintage, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Armijo has already played their next contest, a 51-34 win against Florin on the 22nd. As for Vintage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-46 loss against Casa Grande on the 22nd.
