Dynamic duo of Kaleb Rodriguez and Bobby Parraz lead Loving to victory

Recap: Loving Falcons vs. Hagerman Bobcats

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eunice, the Loving Falcons were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They strolled past Hagerman with points to spare, taking the game 57-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Loving also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Leading Loving to victory were Kaleb Rodriguez and Bobby Parraz. Rodriguez almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds, while Parraz dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Rodriguez also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Giovanni Ruiz, who scored eight points along with five assists and three steals.

Despite the loss, Hagerman still got an impressive performance from Jevon Aguilar, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Gray, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.

Loving is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Hagerman, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loving will take on Eunice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Eunice's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for Hagerman, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tatum at 7:00 p.m. Hagerman is on a three-game streak of home losses, Tatum an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
