Baseball Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Comer's offense. They came up short against the Fayetteville Wolves on Friday, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-2 defeat last Monday.

Comer is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12. As for Fayetteville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Comer will be playing at home against Sylacauga at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville, they will challenge Jemison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Fayetteville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
