While Tallwood's victory against Landstown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tallwood Lions won by a run and slipped past the Landstown Eagles 3-2. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles on Thursday, too.

The win made it two in a row for Tallwood and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Landstown, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Tallwood will head out on the road to square off against Ocean Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Landstown, they will be playing at home against Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
