After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Douglas, Crossville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Boaz Pirates 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for Crossville as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Boaz with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Ferrera, Jesus Reyes, and Cesar Franco.

Crossville's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Boaz, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossville will host Moody at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crossville will be up against Moody's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.76 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Boaz, they will take on Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
