Football Recap: Loganville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Loganville Christian Academy can now relate to. They were dealt a 34-7 defeat at the hands of the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings on Friday. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

When it comes to explaining why Loganville Christian Academy lost, don't look at Kylan Fryar. Despite the final result, he rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 142 yards on 11 of 19 attempts.

St. Anne-Pacelli's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Davis, who picked up 123 receiving yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Davis posted two receiving touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September. Cameron Carino handled things on the ground, rushing for 82 yards and a rushing touchdown.
