It was a good run, but Humboldt unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Middleton Tigers on the road by a 46-30 margin. The Vikings were down 45-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

It was another big night for Harmony Bell, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 18 points and three steals for Middleton. The match was Bell's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kemora Buggs, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Humboldt's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9. As for Middleton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt has already played their next game (against Halls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Middleton has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against West Carroll.
