Soccer Game Preview: Broad Run vs. Loudoun County

The Broad Run Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Loudoun County Captains at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.

Broad Run is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Woodgrove on Monday. The Spartans fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 1-0. Broad Run have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Loudoun County put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let Woodgrove get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Loudoun County's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Loudoun County's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those eight contests. As for Broad Run, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-2.
