Huskies hand Mission Viejo first loss of season in California's Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals.

Centennial (Corona, Calif.) was the biggest mover in this week's MaxPreps Top 25 high school football rankings after a 25-20 win over Mission Viejo (Calif.) in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals. The Huskies jumped 11 spots to No. 12 while the Diablos dropped seven spots to No. 16.

Junior running back Malachi Roby had a huge night, rushing for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Five-star USC commit Husan Longstreet completed 17 of 23 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown to go with 52 yards on the ground and another score. The Huskies have won nine in a row ahead of their showdown against No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana) on Friday.

The top-ranked Monarchs improved to 10-0 with a 33-13 win over Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth). They have won six in a row against Centennial, including a 42-25 win during the regular season. Longstreet did not play in that meeting because of a foot injury.
