Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ashley Ridge). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Fort Dorchester Patriots 44-14. That's more bragging rights for the Swamp Foxes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Trevor Kalisz went supernova, throwing for 152 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 51 yards and one score. What's more, he racked up 150.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ashley Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 341 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 178 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Ashley Ridge's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Andre Graham was especially locked on to Fort Dorchester's QB and sacked him twice. Ashley Ridge received some extra help from JT King, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Although Fort Dorchester took the loss, they still got scores from Laurez Matthews and Derrick Simpson.

The win got Ashley Ridge back to even at 3-3. As for Fort Dorchester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashley Ridge will head out to face off against Stall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Swamp Foxes will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fort Dorchester, they will head out on the road to challenge West Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
