Volleyball Recap: Thunder Basin Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Thunder Basin couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Laramie Plainsmen by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Plainsmen this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat on Saturday.

Thunder Basin's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Laramie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Laramie beat Thunder Basin by a score of 3-2 later that day.
