Sipes Came Up Big in Fredericktown's 31-0 Victory

Starting off the list is Fredericktown's Blake Sipes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sipes rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 95 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.

For the year, Sipes has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 99.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 94.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 142 rushing yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Caleb Lucas Leads Danville over Centerburg

On Friday, Danville got the W thanks in part to Caleb Lucas playing the best football he has all season. Lucas picked up a sack, made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended a pass.

Centerburg's probably not too fond of Lucas given he always seems to get the better of them. When Lucas last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
