Softball Recap: Brandeis Takes a Loss

Brandeis lost against Johnson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Brandeis Broncos lost 15-3 to the Johnson Jaguars. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton Miers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Reagan Gallegos was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Brandeis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Johnson, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Brandeis has already played their next matchup, an 11-3 victory against LEE on the 7th. As for Johnson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against SA Roosevelt on the 7th.
