Preview: Uxbridge Spartans vs. Grafton Gators
The Uxbridge Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grafton Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Uxbridge will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, Uxbridge came up short against Bartlett and fell 50-41. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Uxbridge came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Bartlett is ranked 284th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kellen Lachapelle, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Aidan Blood, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Grafton earned a 63-54 victory over Northbridge on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Grafton.
Uxbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Grafton, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
