Basketball Recap: Nisreen Khellil's Big Game Can't Quite Lead MCC over Niles North

On Saturday, the MCC Crescents came up short against the Niles North Vikings and fell 45-36.

MCC's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nisreen Khellil, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sundes Taboo, who earned eight points.

MCC's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Niles North, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

MCC has already played their next match, a 41-25 victory against Aqsa on the 3rd. As for Niles North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-36 loss against Maine East on the 6th.
