Softball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Crater Comets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Grizzlies have suffered since April 19th.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Crater, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Coming up, Ashland will take on Thurston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Colts have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Crater, they will challenge Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Comets are facing the Millers at the right time seeing as the Millers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
