Volleyball Recap: Baraga Gets the Win

Baraga proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the L'Anse Purple Hornets. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Baraga's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for L'Anse, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coincidentally, Baraga and L'Anse will both be playing Dollar Bay the next time they take the court. The Purple Hornets will host the Bays at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
