Soccer Recap: Rhinelander Comes Up Short

Rhinelander lost against Mosinee back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hodags lost 3-0 to the Indians. That's two games in a row now that Rhinelander have lost by exactly three goals.

Rhinelander has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-11-2 record this season. As for Mosinee, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Rhinelander will host Medford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mosinee, they will venture away from home to take on Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Mosinee's offense will have their work cut out for them.
