Basketball Recap: Galion Comes Up Short

Galion lost against Marion Harding back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Galion Tigers lost to the Marion Harding Presidents on the road by a 66-51 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 560th, while the Presidents are ranked 90th).

Galion is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15. As for Marion Harding, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

When Galion and Marion Harding next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Galion will challenge Genoa Area and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. Meanwhile, Marion Harding will try to stop South's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
