Baseball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Comes Up Short

The Timber Creek Regional Chargers came up short against the Pitman Panthers on Friday and fell 6-1. The match marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Timber Creek Regional saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Dobrowolski, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Dobrowolski has snagged this season.

Timber Creek Regional's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Pitman, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Timber Creek Regional is taking a road trip to challenge Williamstown at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Pitman will be paying especially close attention to the Chargers' contest: after the Chargers face off against the Braves, they'll take on Pitman again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
