Softball Recap: Wagner Red Raiders vs. Parkston Trojans

Wagner took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Parkston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Red Raiders won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 6-5. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lydia Yost made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Yost was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Yost wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ravyn Medricky, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
