Volleyball Recap: Hooper Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Hooper Academy proved they can win big back in September (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Colts: when they faced off against the Generals back in August, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Hooper Academy who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-10, 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10.

When it comes to explaining why Abbeville Christian Academy lost, don't look at Hope Kennedy. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and three aces. Kennedy has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. Kelsey McClure was another key player, hitting 70.8% for 17 kills and 24 digs and seven aces.
