Softball Recap: Mona Shores Comes Up Short

Mona Shores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Jenison Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on Tuesday.

Mona Shores saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raelyn Olsen, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Mona Shores' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Jenison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

While Mona Shores had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
