Basketball Recap: Fox Creek Falls Despite Big Games from Kobe Sims and Justin Vining

Fox Creek had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 61-57 to the Greenforest Eagles on Friday.

Despite the loss, Fox Creek had strong showings from Justin Vining, who went 6-for-9 en route to 21 points, and Kobe Sims, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 12 points. Gavin Baskett was another key player, putting up seven points.

The win got Greenforest back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Fox Creek will take on Brookland-Cayce at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenforest, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Butler at 6:30 p.m. on December 6.
