Football Game Preview: Romulus Eagles vs. Annapolis Cougars + How To Watch

The Romulus Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Annapolis Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Romulus is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 35 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Thurston on Friday. They were beaten by Thurston 43-6. Romulus' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Romulus' defeat came about despite a quality game from Torrence Searcy, who rushed for 91 yards, and also threw for 70 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Annapolis played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Melvindale, falling 26-6.

Romulus now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Annapolis, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Romulus against Annapolis in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 46-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
