Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Christian School Takes a Loss

Bloomfield Christian School was the 51-36 winner over Springfield Christian Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Bloomfield Christian School Defenders fell to Springfield Christian Academy 56-52. The Defenders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Bloomfield Christian School lost on Tuesday, don't look at Owen Thomas. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 19 on his way to 21 points. Thomas' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Ignatowski, who posted nine points.

Bloomfield Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Springfield Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Bloomfield Christian School will head out on the road to face off against FAITH HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield Christian Academy will take on Lapeer Lakers Homeschool in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lapeer Lakers Homeschool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.
