Soccer Recap: Reed-Custer Takes a Loss

Reed-Custer lost against Lisle back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Comets came up short against the Lions, falling 10-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Reed-Custer were already down 7-1.

Matthew Kuban wasn't going to let Lisle walk away unscathed as he scored both of Reed-Custer's goals, bringing his season total up to 19 goals.

Reed-Custer has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season. As for Lisle, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Reed-Custer will challenge Clifton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lisle, they will take on Chicago Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
