Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lower Cape May). They blew past the Pleasantville Greyhounds 10-2 on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the  season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Ashton Ray, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those  runs were  his first of the season.  Matt DiCave was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
The  win made it two in a row for Lower Cape May and  bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2  run in those games. As for Pleasantville,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
 Coming up, Lower Cape May will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Creek  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pleasantville, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Atlantic City  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
