Baseball Recap: Weston-McEwen/Griswold Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Weston-McEwen/Griswold's offense. They came up short against the Union/Cove Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The Tiger Scots haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Weston-McEwen/Griswold's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Union/Cove, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Weston-McEwen/Griswold will square off against Stanfield/Echo at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Union/Cove will be paying especially close attention to the Tiger Scots' match: after the Tiger Scots face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Union/Cove again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
