Volleyball Recap: Hastings Tigers vs. Northwest Vikings

Hastings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Vikings. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19.

Alivia Lind paced Hastings' offense, picking up five kills. Lind got some help from Adaline Nelson and her nine assists.

Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Northwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hastings will venture away from home to take on Bennington on Saturday. As for Northwest, they will head out to face off against Waverly at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
