Game recap: Carlisle High School Football Team wins against Preble Shawnee

CARLISLE, Ohio -
Carlisle (Ohio) scored 28 points in the first quarter to open up a 28-point lead and cruise to a 66-21 victory over Preble Shawnee (Camden, Ohio) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Indians led 59-7 at the half.
Carlisle expanded its lead to 59 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored once in the quarter on a rushing touchdown.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Indians came away with a 54-7 victory.
With the win Carlisle extended its winning streak to three games.
Carlisle (7-2) goes up against Dixie in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye game matchup next week, while Preble Shawnee (0-9) locks horns with Eaton in a non-conference game.
