Baseball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Arvin Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-7 last Tuesday.

North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RILEY STONEBRAKER, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Arvin, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Coming up, North will take on Tehachapi at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Stars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Arvin, they will square off against Del Oro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
