Volleyball Recap: Loudonville Beats Fredericktown for Their Third Straight Win

Loudonville waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Fredericktown Freddies by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 15-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Sophie Shultz paced Loudonville's offense, picking up 20 kills. Shultz got some help from Ella Vermilya and her 32 assists. Shultz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Fredericktown's loss came despite strong showings from Kallan Tilton and Zoey Horlacher. Tilton had 23 assists and nine digs, while Horlacher had nine digs and one assist.

Loudonville's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Fredericktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Loudonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dalton on the 27th. Fredericktown has also already played their next contest (against Highland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
