Max Breit had a dynamite game For Southside Christian., throwing for 191 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 48 yards and one TD. Breit's passing game has become a key predictor of the Sabres' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Keldin Wrona, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Chapman's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Southside Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
