North Point took a 12-run defeat the last time they faced off against Northern, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 28th.
Everett Myers tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
