 There's no place like home for Cambridge Springs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Monday. They never let the Union City Bears onto the board and left with  a   6-0  victory  on Wednesday. For Cambridge Springs, this counts as revenge for the   5-4 loss Union City walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in March.
  Owen Riley made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Riley has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive pitching appearances. Riley was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Matthew Ross, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Preston Gorton was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 On Union City's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Daithin Kent, who  went 2-for-2 with a  double.
 Cambridge Springs' win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Union City,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge Springs will take on Maplewood at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Maplewood is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season. As for Union City, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Cochranton at 4:00  p.m.
