Flag Football Recap: Notre Dame Prep Starts off Right with Win over North Canyon

Notre Dame Prep had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Canyon Rattlers a 20-0 shutout.

Notre Dame Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Sutton Hartman led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

North Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Notre Dame Prep and North Canyon will both be playing Paradise Valley the next time they take the field. The Saints will host the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rattlers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
