Softball Recap: Atkins Takes a Loss

Atkins lost against Glenn on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Camels might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 20-2 to the Bobcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Camels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atkins saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aniston Pennington, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Atkins' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Glenn, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Atkins is taking a road trip to face off against Southern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Camels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Storm have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Glenn, they have already played their next matchup, a 20-2 win against Atkins on the 2nd.
