Soccer Recap: Thomas Jefferson Takes a Loss

Thomas Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-3 to the Hermitage Panthers. While losing is never fun, Thomas Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Hermitage are ranked 83rd).

Thomas Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hermitage, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Thomas Jefferson will challenge rival Armstrong at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hermitage is set to take on their familiar foe J.R. Tucker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
