Baseball Recap: Alice Takes a Loss

Alice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Brandeis Broncos, falling 10-2. If the Coyotes were looking for revenge after losing 15-1 to the Broncos when the teams met back in February of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alice saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Ramirez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base was Ramirez's first of the season.

Alice's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Brandeis, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Coincidentally, Alice and Brandeis will both be playing Wagner the next time they take the field. Brandeis will host Wagner at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, while Alice will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
