Basketball Game Preview: Highland Rim Academy vs. Christian Community Colts

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-10, which was the final score in Highland Rim Academy's tilt against Clarksville Christian back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Christian Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They strolled past Pleasant View Christian with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-42.

Highland Rim Academy better focus on containing Autumn Hubbard and B.J. Head as the pair were huge in Christian Community's win. Hubbard went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points, while Head went 5 for 8 on her way to 13 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Head a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Rigsby, who posted ten points.

Christian Community pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Highland Rim Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
