Basketball Recap: Sibley East Takes a Loss

Sibley East lost against Minnesota Valley Lutheran back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sibley East Wolverines took an 82-65 bruising from the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Wolverines still had to take the loss.

Sibley East now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Sibley East will be playing in front of their home fans against Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Le Sueur-Henderson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups. Minnesota Valley Lutheran has already played their next game (against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
